We have used Charles twice now to help with maintaining several mature trees in our garden. First a few years ago for general pruning and reshaping and more recently again for pruning but also removal of 2 diseased trees. Each time Charles came to see the work required and give his advice, a quote was agreed and the work done carefully, professionally and all pruning’s removed. Charles and his team carried out crown reductions on three trees. The team of five worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done in one day. Two trees were accessible only through our house, and they were careful to lay down mats and carry only small bundles through the house. The trees in our garden are surrounded by flower beds and our veg patch, and overhang our neighbours, and the team was careful to avoid damaging the beds (not 100% successful – it is impossible to control completely where a branch lands, but I am neurotic about damage to my garden and I was happy at the end). They cleared up all the debris in our and our neighbours’ gardens. I am not a tree expert, but the trees look well shaped. The team were courteous and cheerful throughout. I would recommend them unreservedly.

Charles and his team did a great job with minimal fuss and, as Charles predicted, it has transformed my garden and also made my house much brighter! He was polite and efficient to work with, priced the job competitively and had a positive ‘can do’ attitude to a job that wasn’t entirely straightforward.

We booked Charles to give some TLC to a row of mature hawthorns, an elder tree and felling a Sycamore. He was punctual, friendly, professional and tidy. He also offered advice on future care and planning for replacement in due course, since some of the trees are quite old. We are very pleased with his work. Highly recommended!

I used Charles and his team for the first time recently, to reduce and shape a eucalyptus tree in my garden. His attention from my first contact was first rate, from a quick reply to a very competitive price. He kept in contact, answering any queries quickly and arriving on time on the day. Having no rear access to the garden, my house was well protected from the large volume of cuttings produced as they were moved to their chipping machine parked outside the front of the house.

Green Industries did an amazing job on some very tall Ash trees at the bottom of my garden that form a beautiful back drop in the summer but were becoming dangerous. I contacted a number of companies but they all proposed cutting them down and were negative about the future for the trees.
Green Industries understood my request and provided a reasonable quote. They put a lot of thought in how to preserve these trees and planned the approach meticulously. The finished job left me with 3 Ash trees that are shaped beautifully, will grow properly and are now completely safe. The tree surgeons were on time, worked carefully, were knowledgeable, kept me advised of progress and sought my decision for any changes to the quote that were needed. They left the area that they worked in spotless and tidy, leaving the branches I wished to keep and removing
the rest. I was extremely pleased with the outcome and the care they took with the surrounding environment. I highly recommend this company.

I had very specific instructions in how I wanted them to deal with a monster sycamore tree that overhangs my garden. I am very satisfied with the outcome. We are so pleased with the work Charles did – our very large fir tree was in need of some TLC and that’s exactly what it got – it now looks a fantastic specimen , and to think I was thing of having it chopped down ! He can run a good team and work with them or work alone. The work has always been very efficient and tidy. Great care has been taken in protecting property when working close to it or having to move tree trunks etc. through houses for disposal, which has often been necessary in London.
